While JTEP is not currently looking for any employees for itself, if you are a good, licensed, refrigeration mechanic, or are interested in an air-conditioning & refrigeration appretniceship, we may be able to help you find employment elsewhere.

Incidentally, here are some remarks made by people who have previously worked for JTEP’s director, when asked (while still in his employ) what the best thing is about where they work:

Administrative Staff:

  • The variety of work, as well as the people I work with and their positive outlook to complete the work provided
  • I’ve been [here] since near the beginning, so I feel passionate about it – it isn’t mine, but I still feel a sense of ownership of it. Thus it makes me want to get out of bed in the morning.
  • There have been a number of tasks I have been assigned in my time [here] that have caused me to develop new skills. Also, sometimes people bring in food that they have made and give it away for free.
  • The variety of work. The people I work with. The opportunity to explore new products and technologies.

Tradespeople (including apprentices):

  • 5 × My colleagues (five tradespeople said ‘the people I work with’ or ‘my colleagues’)
  • 3 × Work variety (three tradespeople said ‘work variety’ or ‘variety of work’)
  • 3 × I get to work with good people (three tradespeople made statements very similar to this)
  • 2 × The friends (two tradespeople made this exact statement)
  • Learning new things every day. It is interesting to work [here]. Also, I get on with the people here.
  • Management and friends worthy of respect, good teamwork and a friendly environment
  • The people in general. Also, the work is fun and not too hard, and I get to do a range of work.
  • My work colleagues, some especially, and my supervisor
  • It is just down the road from my house, so it does not take long to drive to in the morning
  • It is close to everything – there are shops nearby
